EICMA 2014: The centenary that looks to the future

In its centenary edition EICMA, the Esposizione Mondiale del Motociclismo will be innovative and oriented to the future, thanks to plenty of product presentations and a calendar full of events. In its 2014 edition, 20 world premieres are expected.

The event will take place at Fiera Milano Rho from November 4th to 9th, and it guarantees excellent quality standards thanks to the presence of the main sector brands, the special areas (EICMA Custom, The Green Planet, The security area), the outdoor circuit MotoLive, important surprises like the “100 anni di storia verso il futuro” project) and the Temporary Bikers Shop. All the activities for the Fuori Salone that will last the entire week are also confirmed.

The show has already passed 1000 exhibitors, including 36% foreign and 30% new brands, and a request list that is still updating.

Also for this year the service dedicated to B2B is confirmed: Match Making platform, that is available for all the exhibitors for free, offers the possibility to get in contact with sector’s experts and organize focused meetings, to take advantage of the presence at the exhibition.

Ticket price is 18 euros, and it has been since 2007. Friday is free entry for women and the Fair closes at 10.00 pm.

“A celebration has deep roots and becomes a bridge with the future only when it is rich in content. For this reason we decided that the 100 years of the Exhibition represent the industrial and cultural heritage of the two wheels sector”, stated Antonello Montante, President of EICMA

“Intensifying our work with all the players and offer the public the best, means to emphasize Italy’s role at international level. Although Europe in the last five years, has suffered a decline in production of 54%, our country still maintains its leadership by being the first manufacturer in Europe. Our commitment, as always, and even more in this edition, remains oriented both to support and promote the whole supply chain and to manage all the possibilities for individual and collective growth, to strengthen existing relationships and meet a wide audience that thinks at the exposed vehicles as a concrete solution for sustainable mobility, and also as icons of great passion. In other words, we want to confirm, once again, with the facts, that EICMA is the world most important event dedicated to the two-wheels. “
