Two of the best models in the small sports car segment just got better as Porsche officially unveiled today the GTS version of its Cayman and Boxster twins.

The 3.4-liter flat-six engine on both cars has gained 15 additional horsepower and 10 Nm of torque, which brings total output on the Boxster GTS to 330 hp and 370 Nm of torque, while the Cayman GTS now produces 340 hp and 380 Nm of torque. When fitted with the optional PDK transmission, the Boxster GTS sprints from 0-100 km/h in 4.7 seconds, whilst the Cayman GTS is a tenth of a second faster.

Porsche Active Suspension Management (PASM) comes standard on both models. Visually, the two cars feature modified front and rear bumpers in addition to blackened bi-xenon headlights. Both two-seaters come with sports seats and leather interiors as standard. Like other GTS models from Porsche they are refined with Alcantara elements.

Sales of both Boxster GTS and Cayman GTS will start in May 2014.
