June 26, 2015 – Subaru will take part in the World Rally Championship, unofficially, through JRM’s recently unveiled rally-spec 2015 WRX STI, which is set to compete in the WRC 2 championship.
JRM is an official base team for Subaru Tecnica International (STI) and it believes its latest NR4 challenger will boost competition in the WRC 2 Production Cup.
The new Subaru WRX STI rally car has been built to the FIA’s new NR4 technical regulations and is the newest car of its type to be specifically built for international production rallying.
JRM says the 2015 NR4 Subaru WRX STI is a highly cost-effective purchase, with mechanical running costs estimated to be no more than £15 (≈ 23.6 USD) per kilometer, and the car can be fitted with optional equipment to suit specific driver requirements.
The 2015 NR4 Subaru WRX STI is available to rally in international specification from £99,995 (≈ 157,500 USD), and you can find plenty of details on the new rally car here.
