Drag Race: Honda Civic Type R vs Volkswagen Golf R

March 11, 2016 – The Honda Civic Type R and Volkswagen Golf R are both magnificent hot hatches that deliver outstanding performance, but in every comparison, there can only be one winner.

Volkswagen’s range-topping Golf R delivers 296 horsepower and of 379 Nm torque from its turbocharged four-cylinder, while a similar engine in the Civic Type R generates 306 horsepower and 400 Nm of torque.
