Ferrari is working on a track-oriented version of the popular LaFerrari supercar, the Italian sports car manufacturer has confirmed to American automotive news website Autoblog.
Additionally, a test mule of the wild supercar was recently spied clocking fast laps and running different tyre options at the Nurburgring Nordschleife in Germany. No aerodynamic upgrades were spotted on the car, but Ferrari will most likely introduce them later on.
With the supercar producing 949 horsepower from its 6.3-liter V12 hybrid powertrain, a quicker acceleration or higher top speed will be hard to achieve, which is why the company is relying on aerodynamic updates and slick tyres to further enhance performance.
