March 2, 2017 – Great news if you’re a Lamborghini fan: the upcoming track-focused Huracán Performante recently broke the Nürburgring lap time record for a production car, which was previously set by the Porsche 918 Spyder.
Driven by Lamborghini’s test driver Marco Mapelli, the Huracán Performante managed to lap the Green Hell in 6 minutes 52 seconds, making it 5 seconds faster than the 918 Spyder and 7 seconds faster than the Aventador SV.
Lamborghini will reveal the Huracán Performante in Geneva next week, and we know it’s going to have a V10 engine producing more than 600 horsepower and a lot of advanced active aero.
