New Rolls-Royce Wraith debuts in Geneva

The car you see above is the all-new Wraith from Rolls-Royce, described as the company’s most powerful and fastest ever built. Essentially a Ghost Coupe, the new Wraith is set compete with Bentley’s well-established Continental GT in the Grand Touring Coupe market.

It features a 6.6-liter twin-turbo V12 engine delivering 624 horsepower and a peak torque of 800Nm. With the 8-speed ZF automatic transmission, it can sprint from 0 to 100 km/h in just 4.2 seconds – 0.5 seconds quicker than the Ghost.

Inside, the Wraith boasts a long list of of luxuries including Phantom-grade leathers, new Canadel Panelling wood trim, and the brand’s unique Starlight Headliner – which features thousands of tiny fibre optic lamps hand-woven into the roof lining.

A new innovation on the Wraith is the Satellite Aided Transmission (SAT) that relies on GPS  data to predict the driver’s next move and automatically select the right gear for the road ahead.

Starting price for the new Wraith is 320,000 USD.
