Owners celebrate Lamborghini 50th anniversary in UAE

More than 50 Lamborghini cars, plus owners from across the GCC countries joined together in Dubai over the last two days to celebrate the 50th anniversary of the ‘House of the Raging Bull’.

A police-escorted parade from Jumeirah Emirates Towers Hotel to Burj Al Arab and back past Burj Khalifa opened the event on the 15 December. On day two, the owners left Dubai city, on a tour that included a lunch stop at Bab Al Shams.

A gala dinner on 16 December, attended by Automobili Lamborghini President and CEO Stephan Winkelmann, on the Armani Pavilion below Burj Khalifa, closed the celebration.

“This was a great gathering of Lamborghini cars and owners, from countries across the region,” said Stephan Winkelmann. “It demonstrates the passion and loyalty for our brand, and it’s been tremendous to meet so many Lamborghini owners and enthusiasts during this event.”

The Middle East event concludes a year of 50th anniversary celebrations worldwide for Automobili Lamborghini, peaking with the Grande Giro in Italy in May, in which 350 Lamborghinis and their owners from across the world took part.
