July 6, 2016 – Twin-turbocharging Lamborghini engines is a common practice. However, shoving a twin-turbocharged Lamborghini V10 engine in a Volkswagen Golf isn’t, but the guys at Asgard Peformance have already done it, taking the heart of a Gallardo, and planting it at the back of a fourth-generation Golf R32.
The engine produces 1500 horsepower and the tuning firm says the car weighs 900 kilograms only, which means it has a power to weight ratio of 1.66 horsepower per kilogram, more than the recently-unveiled Aston Martin-Red Bull Racing AM-RB 001.
