Ex-Formula 1 driver Michael Schumacher is showing “moments of consciousness” his agent Sabine Kehm has confirmed today.
Kehm said in a statement to the media that the seven-time world champion was “making progress”, adding: “We remain optimistic.” She also rejected rumours of a multimillion-dollar clinic, designed specifically for Schumacher and to be built in his Swiss home, as “absolutely groundless”.
The Formula 1 legend has been in a medically induced coma at the Grenoble University Hospital Centre for the past three months after sustaining life-threatening injuries in a skiing accident at the Alpine resort of Méribel on the 29th of December, 2013.
