Dany Mazloum wins controversial Falougha Hill Climb 2014

Dany Mazloum took his first ever victory in the Lebanese Hill Climb Championship after setting the quickest times in a controversial opening round of the 2014 season in Falougha today.

The event was delayed for almost 2 hours after a dispute had emerged over the regulations between most of the teams and the ATCL, which lead to the withdrawal of 28 out of a total 39 drivers, leaving 11 contestants to fight it out for the win.

Mitsubishi Lancer Evo IX driver Dany Mazloum eventually secured victory ahead of Rodrigue Rahi on the Lancia Delta HF Integrale, with Jawad Slim (EVO X) taking third place overall.

Results by Heat: Heat 1, Heat 2, Heat 3.
