July 20, 2015 – Paul Kossaifi completed the 2015 Lebanese Hill Climb Championship season on an absolute high, winning the third and final round of the season in Bkassine to clinch the rear-wheel drive class title.
Paul’s victory in his BMW 330Ci wasn’t easy as he faced intense competition from fellow BMW driver Garo Haroutiounian, who kept him on his toes throughout the event.
Paul had clocked 2 minutes 26.86 in his first attempt, which was second fastest in RWD, but he bettered his time to 2 minutes 25.39 seconds in the second attempt to take the lead. His third and final run was his quickest, setting 2 minutes 24.83 seconds to confirm a class victory and the rear-wheel drive class title.
It is worth mentioning that Paul won the first round in Deir El Qamar and finished second to Garo in the second round in Falougha.
