During Citroen World Rally Team’s 2013 season launch on Thursday morning, Sebastien Loeb confirmed he will be tackling next year’s GT Sprint Series onboard a McLaren MP4-12C GT3.
In addition to his GT campaign, which will be run by his own Sebastien Loeb Racing team, the Frenchman will take part in four rounds of the 2013 World Rally Championship with Citroen, but his main focus will, however, be on racing in his first year-long series.
The nine-time world champion will also prepare for Citroen’s proposed entry to the World Touring Car Championship (WTCC) in 2014.
Loeb said: “I will do the World GT Championship. I like the format of the races in this championship it is for two one-hour races through the weekend. There are two drivers and we have the tyre change as well.”
