Ogier is now leading the 2014 Monte Carlo Rally with only 1 stage remaining till the end of the second day. The French man won 3 out of 4 stages in this second day pulling away from the previous leader Bouffier with a 22.6 seconds gap. Bouffier couldn’t defend his lead and lost 47 seconds for Ogier in SS9 and 11.4 seconds in SS10.
Former Formula 1 driver Robert Kubica is out of the Rally after a crash in SS9. Kubica was following the leaders before the crash in 4th overall place and could’ve secure a podium.
