October 10, 2015 – 1978 world rally champion Markku Alen crashed a Lancia Delta S4 yesterday during shakedown for Rallylegend, which is one of the most famous rallies in Europe, attracting some of the biggest names in the rallying world, including Juha Kankkunen, Francois Delecour and others.
Judging by the video footage, the Lancia’s front-right suspension failed, which lead to Alen losing control of the legendary rally car and crashing into a hay bale. Luckily, the Finn escaped unscathed and the car didn’t seem heavily damaged.
