Regarded as the WRC’s biggest test of bravery and skill thanks to its high-speed jumps and sweeping corners, the 33-kilometer Ouninpohja 2 stage (SS22) has seen a new record holder the past weekend, none other than Volkswagen’s Sebastien Ogier who clocked a 15:08.9, beating Mikko Hirvonen’s previous record of 15:17.3 which was set by the Finn on the Citroen DS3 WRC in 2012. Unfortunately, there are no footage of Ogier’s record run (yet), but we did manage to find a video of his Ouninpohja 1 (SS18) effort.
