Pre-season testing has officially ended with Kimi Raikkonen topping the timesheets on the 4th and final day, as we now await the season opener in Melbourne.
All eyes are on Red Bull and McLaren as the favorites for the win in Australia.
Mercedes aren’t far behind, for they are expected to disrupt the leaders after what appeared to be a great weekend for the German team.
Lotus kept its impressive pace despite a few niggles, while Ferrari stirred the most controversy this week by canceling all interviews with their drivers and admitting a podium finish in Australia is a long shot.
Midfield teams looked quite strong compared to last year, especially Sauber’s C31, which was setting fast times throughout the weekend whilst staying quite gentle on its tyres.
