2012 Monaco Grand Prix race results: Webber wins from pole!

Mark Webber lead a rather uneventful Monaco Grand Prix to take his 9th career victory ahead of Nico Rosberg’s Mercedes.
The Australian managed to keep his lead from the start, which saw Lotus driver Romain Grosjean crash out of the race.

Fernando Alonso jumped ahead of Lewis Hamilton thanks to a fast pit stop from his Ferrari team; Alonso finished on the last podium spot in 3rd, while reigning world champion Sebastian Vettel took advantage of a good strategy and some fast pit stops to push Hamilton down to 5th.

Massa confirmed his improved pace as he finished sixth, right behind Hamilton.

Force India duo Nico Hulkenberg and Paul Di Resta capitalized on others’ mistakes to cross the line in 7th and 8th respectively, followed by Kimi Raikkonen who struggled throughout the race.

Bruno Senna completed the Monaco Grand Prix top 10 spots.

McLaren driver Jenson Button was stuck behind Heikki Kovalainen’s Caterham for most of the race, until he spun after hitting the Finn; the Briton eventually retired.
