Sebastian Vettel made it three out of three when he went quickest during Sunday’s third free practice session for the 2012 Singapore Grand Prix. The German’s time of 1:47.947 was enough to put him three tenths ahead of Lewis Hamilton’s McLaren.
Fernando Alonso finished the session in third place ahead Force India driver Nico Hulkenberg and the Lotus of Kimi Raikkonen, while Felipe Massa had to settle for sixth place.
Nico Hulkenberg’s teammate Paul Di Resta ended up in seventh place, in yet another promising session for the Indian team, followed by the updated Mercedes of Nico Rosberg.
Michael Schumacher completed the top 10 in the sister Mercedes behind Williams driver Bruno Senna. The Qualifying battle will start in 1 and a half hour with a tight battle for pole predicted.
