2012 Wales Rally GB Day 2: Latvala stretches his lead

Jari-Matti Latvala stretched his Wales Rally lead by a 24.5 seconds margin despite losing out some time to his second-placed Ford teammate Petter Solberg in SS10 and SS12 on Saturday afternoon.

Sebastien Loeb meanwhile is in a battle for the runner-up spot with Solberg and heads into the final day 6.4-seconds behind the Norwegian, with Mads Ostberg in fourth place a further 16.6 seconds adrift.

Mikko Hirvonen is having a tough time catching up with Ostberg; the Citroen driver currently lies in fifth place, trailed by M-Sport Ford teammates Ott Tanak and Evgeny Novikov in sixth and seventh respectively.

Nasser Al-Attiyah is running in a low thirteenth position behind VW Motorsport driver Sebastien Ogier.
