Lebanese rally driver Roger Feghali managed to reduce the gap to his rivals this morning after going quickest on the first loop’s final stage (SS4); Feghali posted a 11:54.8 to beat Nasser Al-Attiyah by 5.6 seconds.
Al-Attiyah went 9 seconds quicker than his main rival UAE’s Khalid Al-Qassimi on the fourth special stage to extend his lead to a comfortable 17.8 seconds. Feghali is a further 11.7 seconds away.
Abdulaziz Al-Kuwari remains fourth overall; the Qatari is now more than a full minute off the lead.
