Mercedes’ Nico Rosberg secured a fourth consecutive pole position when he went quickest in a rainy qualifying session for the 2014 Belgian Grand Prix this afternoon. Rosberg clocked a 2 min 07.130 seconds around a wet Circuit de Spa Francorchamps to beat his teammate Lewis Hamilton to pole by 0.2 seconds.
Ferrari’s Fernando Alonso found himself sandwiched between the two Red Bulls of Sebastian Vettel and Daniel Ricciardo who set the third and fifth fastest times respectively.
