Lewis Hamilton was the fastest man during the second free practice session for the 2014 British Grand Prix, lapping the Silverstone Circuit in 1 minute 34.508 seconds, before stopping on track due to engine failure on his W05. Teammate Nico Rosberg finished second ahead of Ferrari’s Fernando Alonso who was best of the rest.
