Mercedes driver Nico Rosberg set the early pace in the first free practice session for his home Grand Prix in Hockenheim, Germany. Rosberg was just 0.065 seconds quicker than teammate Lewis Hamilton, while Ferrari’s Fernando Alonso had to settle for P3 ahead of Red Bull’s Daniel Ricciardo.
