Nico Rosberg secured an easy pole for Mercedes during Qualifying for the 2014 German Grand Prix this afternoon as he was left unchallenged after his teammate Lewis Hamilton crashed in Q1 with a brake disc failure on his car. Williams’ star driver Valtteri Bottas managed an impressive second, just 0.2 seconds slower than Rosberg’s lap, while Felipe Massa took third in the second Williams.
