Mercedes’ Nico Rosberg set the quickest time during the second free practice session for the 2014 Italian Grand Prix, lapping the Monza Circuit in 1:26.225, while teammate Lewis Hamilton suffered engine issues in his W05, but still managed to get back on track with 30 minutes to go and clock the second fastest time. Ferrari settled for the third and fourth fastest times with Kimi Raikkonen and Fernando Alonso.
