Volkswagen driver and World Rally Champion Sebastien Ogier has taken the early Rally Germany lead as he won two of three special stages on Friday morning. Ogier is now just 1.9 seconds ahead of teammate Latvala at the end of SS3.
Latvala won the third special stage and holds a comfortable second place ahead of Citroen’s Kris Meeke who’s now 24 seconds behind the Volkswagen duo and almost 5 seconds ahead of Hyundai’s Dani Sordo who’s in turn 3 seconds ahead of Andreas Mikkelsen and Mads Ostberg who are in a tight battle for positions.
