Ferrari’s Fernando Alonso broke the Mercedes 1-2 practice norm by leading the timesheets during first free practice for the 2014 Singapore Grand Prix today. Alonso lapped the Marina Bay Street Circuit in 1 min 49.056 seconds to topple the Mercedes duo who completed the session in second and third.
