Mercedes’ Nico Rosberg lead the way in the final free practice session of the Spanish Grand Prix, fifth round of the 2014 Formula 1 World Championship, after setting the fastest lap on the Circuit de Barcelona-Catalunya this morning.
Rosberg was 0.8 seconds faster than teammate Lewis Hamilton who failed to complete his final flying lap. Local hero Fernando Alonso was third fastest for Ferrari, while Williams’ Felipe Massa settled for fourth place on the timesheets.
