Bugatti is working on a successor to the fastest car in the world, the 16-cylinder Veyron, according to the company’s chief vehicle engineer Jens Schulenburg.
Not much has been revealed, but the automaker wants to integrate tomorrow’s technology into the 2nd generation Veyron, such as wheels made entirely from carbon fiber to help reduce weight in addition to a hybrid powertrain.
The hypercar is expected go into production sometime between 2014 and 2015.
