2015 Jerez Winter Test – Day 3: Nasr puts Sauber in P1

February 3, 2015 – Felipe Nasr managed to knock Ferrari off the top spot during the third day of the first Formula 1 winter test in Jerez, as he lapped the circuit in 1 minute 21.545 seconds, to beat Ferrari’s Kimi Raikkonen by 0.205 seconds.

Mercedes once again dominated in terms of lap count, with Nico Rosberg adding 151 laps to the 157 he managed on day one and the 91 team-mate Lewis Hamilton completed yesterday.

McLaren temporarily overcame its power unit issues and Fernando Alonso was able to put in 32 laps before crawling back to the pits with a cooling water pressure problem.
