2015 Lamborghini Huracán LP 610-4 is official

It’s finally here! the long-awaited Lamborghini Gallardo successor, called the Huracán LP610-4 as opposed to the “Cabrera” naming that early reports suggested, has been revealed.

Styling-wise the Huracan borrows heavy cues from its bigger brother, the Aventador, with a sleek, smooth design in the traditional wedge shape, while dimensions remain very similar to the Gallardo’s.

The “610” in the LP610-4 is the number of horsepower produced by the 5.2-liter V10 hiding at the back; the naturally-aspirated engine is good for 560 Nm of torque. Power is transferred to all four wheels via a seven-speed dual-clutch transmission. It takes 3.2 seconds for the Huracan to hit 100 km/h from a standstill.

The Italian brand plans on parading the baby Aventador in 60 different cities around the globe before its official appearance at the 2014 Geneva Motor Show in March.
