May 8, 2015 – Mercedes led the way in Friday morning’s opening practice session at the Circuit de Barcelona-Catalunya, with just 0.07s separating pacesetter Nico Rosberg from team mate Lewis Hamilton.
Ferrari again proved to be the Silver Arrows’ nearest threat, with Sebastian Vettel and Kimi Raikkonen third and fourth respectively, ahead of the impressive Toro Rossos of rookies Carlos Sainz and Max Verstappen.
