February 23, 2016 – Sebastian Vettel kept Ferrari on top as he went quickest on the second day of Formula 1 pre-season testing in Barcelona.
Vettel clocked 1m22.810s on the new ultra-soft compound, beating Red Bull’s Daniel Ricciardo (pictured) by seven tenths of a second, whilst Mercedes racked up the most mileage with Nico Rosberg managing 172 laps and setting his fastest time on mediums.
The day was interrupted three times, with Max Vesrtappen’s Toro Rosso stopping in the morning, Jolyon Palmer’s Renault coming to a halt in the afternoon and Vettel’s Ferrari stopping 5 minutes before the chequered flag.
