September 30, 2016 – The 2016 Red Bull Car Park Drift Lebanese qualifiers will see the country’s top drifters compete for the national King of Drift crown for the 9th year in a row.
How were the drifters chosen? It’s simple, the top 16 drivers in the Lebanese Drift Championship final standings qualified to the event and we’ll be witnessing all of them in action in Beirut Port on Sunday, October 2, starting 10:00 AM.
The weapon of choice for 12 of the 16 competitors is a BMW, with the E30 chassis proving the most popular. The remaining 4 competitors will deliver their performances in Nissans.
Another interesting fact is that only 2 of the 16 drifters have managed to previously win the national qualifiers: Fadi Boustany (2015) and Bassam Zahalan (2014).
