April 15, 2017 – Valtteri Bottas has taken his maiden Formula 1 pole position after beating Mercedes team mate Lewis Hamilton by just 0.023s in Saturday’s qualifying session for the 2017 Bahrain Grand Prix. Ferrari’s Sebastian Vettel finished third, ahead of Red Bull’s Daniel Ricciardo.
