2017 Group N Lebanese Rally Champion Nadim Halabi is back for a full 2019 Season

Lebanese Group N rally champion Nadim Halabi is all set to compete in the full 2019 season of the Lebanese Rally Championship, which begins with the 35th Spring Rally on March 31.

Nadim Halabi never ceased to impress during all his participations in the past years, either at the Lebanese Rally Championship or at the Lebanese Hill Climb Championship.

Nadim clinched the 2017 Group N Rally Championship in tough conditions and had to wait until the final day of the famous Rally of Lebanon to seal the deal. Nadim who was running a Group N Mitsubishi Lancer Evolution 9 prepared by Motortune Racing had a considerably consistent season aiming to win the championship. The rallies where very tough and especially the Jezzine Rally where Nadim only managed to finish 13th overall, but apart from that Nadim had excellent runs in the Spring Rally and the Cedars Rally. With consistency and smart rally management Nadim was able to finish the 40th Rally of Lebanon in 5th Place overall and was 2nd in the group N category to achieve the dream title. Nadim went on to score 288 points aided by 45 points from the hill climb championship to end his year on a high and to prove his worth.

In 2018, Nadim couldn’t conduct a full and consistent season due to the lack of sponsorship.

Halabi to Biser3a Team: “I am participating this full season. I will driving an Evo9 group N for RS team. The feeling is good. We made one test and we are waiting for the rally to start.”
