May 27, 2017 – Kifah Hilal kicked off his 2017 Lebanese Drift Championship campaign in style as he claimed victory in the opening round of the season in Warde, Kfardebian.
Hilal, who finished runner-up in the 2016 championship, put in a spectacular performance in his BMW E30 to earn the most amount of points and beat Mohammad Baalbaki (BMW E36) and Fadi Bou Chahine (BMW E30), who finished 2nd and 3rd respectively.
Mario Klayaany (Nissan 350Z) was the best drifter in the Amateur category, claiming the class win ahead of Joseph Salameh (BMW E36).
