2025 Lamborghini Temerario: Bold New V8 Hybrid Supercar Revealed

The 2025 Lamborghini Temerario debuts with a hybrid V8 engine, pushing 907 hp and redefining the brand’s design and performance legacy for the future.

The 2025 Lamborghini Temerario marks a significant leap forward for the brand, serving as the replacement for the Huracán and introducing a radically new design and powertrain. While Lamborghini’s history is deeply tied to the iconic Countach, the Temerario dares to break new ground. Despite its familiar low-slung, wedge-shaped look, the Temerario brings a fresh take on Lamborghini’s design language, borrowing inspiration from the Revuelto hypercar and Urus SUV.

The car features softer curves with sharp character lines and a hexagonal motif reminiscent of the 1967 Marzal concept. Notable design elements include slimline headlights and a larger side intake, paying homage to past Lamborghini models like the Gallardo. From the rear, it draws inspiration from 1960s Le Mans cars, featuring an exposed engine, bold venting, and a shortened tail—while being 5.5 inches longer than the Huracán Tecnica.

Under the hood, the Temerario introduces a twin-turbo plug-in hybrid 4.0-liter V8 engine, marking Lamborghini’s return to V8 sports cars since 1988. Producing 789 hp and 516 lb-ft of torque, the engine revs to an astonishing 10,000 rpm. Paired with an electric motor and an eight-speed dual-clutch transmission, the combined system delivers 907 hp and 590 lb-ft of torque. Lamborghini claims it can accelerate from 0-62 mph in 2.7 seconds and reach a top speed exceeding 211 mph.

The Temerario’s aerodynamics are finely tuned, with vortex generators, a large rear diffuser, and roof design optimizing airflow. Lamborghini reports 118% better aerodynamic efficiency compared to the Huracán EVO. For added performance, an optional Lightweight Pack offers carbon-fiber elements that improve both aerodynamics and weight reduction.

Inside, the Temerario shares similarities with the Revuelto, featuring a more spacious cabin thanks to a new all-aluminum chassis. Taller drivers will appreciate the increased legroom and headroom, and the car offers modern features such as multiple digital displays, augmented-reality navigation, and improved graphics.

While some details, including the curb weight and pricing, are yet to be revealed, the Lamborghini Temerario is set to solidify its place in the brand’s future, offering a bold and powerful new chapter for the entry-level supercar.
