The 2025 Porsche 911 Carrera S boasts more power, upgraded features, and an exclusive automatic transmission, marking a new chapter in Porsche’s iconic lineup.
The 2025 Porsche 911 Carrera S ushers in the new 992.2 generation, offering exciting updates, including increased power, enhanced features, and a standard automatic transmission. As one of the most popular models in Porsche’s 911 lineup, the 2025 Carrera S offers an extra 30 horsepower over its predecessor, now delivering 473 hp from its 3.0-liter twin-turbocharged boxer-six engine. Although this power boost may seem modest, it’s a noticeable upgrade, expected to deliver faster acceleration and more thrilling performance.
Porsche’s commitment to performance is clear, with a revised engine that includes new turbochargers, optimized charge-air cooling, and other enhancements, likely including updated ECU tuning. As a result, the 2025 Carrera S can accelerate from 0 to 60 mph in just 3.1 seconds, a 0.2-second improvement over the previous generation, and hit a top speed of 191 mph.
Enhanced Features and Upgrades
Porsche also boosts the Carrera S’s standard equipment. The 2025 model now includes a sport exhaust system with silver-finished tailpipes and adopts the brake package from the 992.1 Carrera GTS, featuring larger 16-inch front rotors and 15-inch rear rotors for improved stopping power. The standard Porsche Torque Vectoring Plus, along with the 20- and 21-inch staggered wheels, carries over from the previous model. Additional options like Porsche Ceramic Composite Brakes (PCCB), PASM active suspension with a 10mm drop, and rear-axle steering are available.
Luxury and Comfort Inside
Inside the 2025 Carrera S, leather is the theme, with more premium materials covering a larger portion of the cabin. The seats, headrests, upper dashboard, and door panels are now wrapped in leather, with rear seats (if equipped) also receiving the same treatment. Buyers can opt for a full-leather interior package that covers even more areas, including the lower dashboard and glove box lid, elevating the luxurious feel. As before, the Carrera S coupe comes with two seats as standard, while the Cabriolet version includes rear seats as standard.
The 2025 Porsche 911 Carrera S delivers thrilling performance upgrades, refined luxury, and the precision driving experience Porsche enthusiasts expect, all while continuing the legacy of one of the most iconic sports cars in history.
