2025 Rolls-Royce Ghost Series II: Luxury Elevated with Opulence

The 2025 Rolls-Royce Ghost Series II introduces refined design, luxurious materials, and enhanced customization options, making this luxury sedan even more opulent.

Rolls-Royce continues to enhance its reputation for ultimate luxury, even as it ventures into SUVs and EVs. The British automaker is elevating its iconic luxury sedan lineup with the introduction of the 2025 Rolls-Royce Ghost Series II. Building on the second-generation Ghost that launched in 2021, this refreshed model features a refined design, more ornate interiors, and even greater customization options.

Visually, the changes are subtle but significant. The headlights have a sleeker, upward-curving bottom edge, while the lower bumper design is toned down with smaller vents and two elegant chrome elements. The rear is inspired by the Spectre, with updated taillights, and two new 22-inch, nine-spoke wheel designs are now available. Rolls-Royce has also introduced a new exterior color, Mustique Blue, inspired by the Caribbean island. The metallic paint, infused with glass and mica flakes, creates a shimmering effect that mimics sunlight on water—a nod to a 1929 Phantom II Continental prototype that used pearlescent paint.

Inside, the Ghost Series II is even more impressive. It features Rolls-Royce’s latest Spirit infotainment system on a central display set behind a glass panel that spans the dashboard. The redesigned “Illuminated Fascia” on the passenger side evokes time-lapse celestial photography, and the Bespoke program allows owners to personalize the design. For a unique touch, buyers can now match the color of the digital instrument gauges to their car’s interior or exterior palette. A new dashboard “clock cabinet” houses both an analog clock and a glowing stainless-steel Spirit of Ecstasy ornament.

Rear passengers also enjoy improved luxury with upgraded rear screens, which now allow two devices to connect simultaneously and stream content independently. The screens also feature a new user interface that controls entertainment, massage seats, and climate functions. Additional upgrades include a faster Wi-Fi hotspot, USB-C charging ports in the center console, and a new 18-speaker sound system with a 1400-watt amplifier.

The Series II introduces a new Grey Stained Ash open-pore wood trim, enhanced with metallic particles for a sparkling finish. It also offers Duality Twill, a sustainable rayon fabric made from bamboo, embossed with a pattern inspired by the iconic interlinked R badge. Available in Lilac, Chocolate, and Black, Duality Twill comes with 51 color options for stitching. The Ghost’s seats now feature 107,000 perforations, creating a pattern that mirrors the shapes of clouds over Rolls-Royce’s Goodwood headquarters.

Mechanically, the Ghost retains its 6.7-liter twin-turbocharged V-12 engine, producing 563 horsepower and paired with an eight-speed automatic transmission that powers all four wheels. A new Satellite Aided Transmission system uses GPS to determine the best gear for exiting a corner based on its curvature. This works in harmony with Rolls-Royce’s Flagbearer system, which scans the road ahead with cameras to optimize the suspension for the smoothest ride possible.
