2026 Dodge Durango SRT Hellcat Makes a Strong Comeback

The Dodge Durango SRT Hellcat is making another return for the 2026 model year. Originally launched in 2021 as a one-year-only model, the high-powered SUV keeps defying expectations with repeated comebacks. After skipping 2022, it returned in 2023, again in 2024, and with special editions in 2025. Now, it’s back once more—this time without Dodge labeling it as a “final edition,” suggesting that the supercharged V8 may stick around a bit longer.

Dodge hasn’t shared full specs yet, but more information about the 2026 Durango SRT Hellcat is expected later this year. The seven-passenger SUV continues to draw attention with its blend of muscle car performance and family-size practicality.

Alongside the SRT Hellcat, the rest of the 2026 Durango lineup has been announced. The V6-powered GT model returns unchanged. The V8 R/T variant adds new customization options for 2026, including two fresh wheel designs and expanded availability of optional packages.

The Tow ‘N Go package is now available as a standalone option, offering enhanced towing features and performance hardware. The new Blacktop Redline package adds aggressive styling elements such as blacked-out badging, unique SRT spoilers, and 20-inch Black Noise wheels.

Order books for both the GT and R/T models open in June, with deliveries expected in the third quarter of the year. Dodge remains committed to offering V8 power in the Durango, even as other automakers shift away from traditional combustion engines.
