After a full redesign for 2025, the Toyota Camry returns for 2026 with subtle updates—most notably, the debut of the Nightshade Edition, a stylish trim level featuring blacked-out details for a more aggressive look.
Black design elements define the Nightshade Edition
The 2026 Camry Nightshade rides on black 19-inch five-spoke wheels and sports gloss-black accents throughout the exterior. Highlights include a black front grille, bumper vents, door handles, side mirrors, rear diffuser, rear spoiler, and roof-mounted shark fin antenna. Gloss-black badges complete the package.
Three bold color choices available
This edition is available in three distinct finishes: Ice Cap (white), Supersonic Red, and Midnight Black Metallic. It builds on the SE trim level and offers a sportier design with the same practical hybrid powertrain.
Efficient hybrid system with AWD option
Every Nightshade Camry uses Toyota’s hybrid system, combining a 2.5-liter four-cylinder engine with electric motors. Front-wheel drive models produce 225 horsepower, while all-wheel drive versions increase output to 232 hp with a third electric motor. Fuel efficiency remains strong, with FWD models offering an estimated 53 mpg in the city and 50 mpg on the highway.
Launch details and lineup placement
The Nightshade Edition joins the existing LE, SE, XLE, and XSE trims. It arrives with a new exterior color option—Dark Cosmos Blue—available across SE, XLE, and XSE models. The full 2026 Camry lineup is expected at dealerships this summer.
