November 17, 2016 – Apparently, the USA and Qatar are embroiled in a fierce battle for the quickest quarter mile run in a Nissan GT-R, with the record recently going to the former.

Last week, Qatar’s Ekanoo Racing team broke the record for the fastest quarter mile run in a Nissan GT-R by clocking 7.16 seconds at 336 km/h. However, America’s AMS Performance team responded a couple of days later by registering 7.14 seconds at 341 km/h in their 3000-hp GT-R and therefore break the record again.
