7:50 PM – Bassel Abou Hamdan: “We had a tough start to the year, but that’s motorsport. We were adamant to take part in Rally of Lebanon. We practiced hard and managed to get here. We are very happy with the result, but we are sad our opponents Henry Massaad and Robert Aaraj had to finish the rally that way.”

7:45 PM – Abdulaziz Al Kuwari: “It’s a great feeling to finish twice on the podium in Rally of Lebanon. It’s a tough rally and the guys here are superb, even the front-wheel drive class drivers, so it’s great to finish a tarmac rally in this position.”

7:40 PM – Rodrigue Rahi: “We had lots of problems with the car, but our aim was to finish within the top 5 and that’s what we managed to do. Seeing the young drivers was a real motivation for me and I had to practice well to be able to challenge these guys.”

Roger-Feghali-Rally-Lebanon-2014

2:00 PM – Ayoub’s retirement is most likely due to a mechanical problem on his Mitsubishi Evo IX. It’s a huge blow for the Lebanese driver who could have taken his first Rally of Lebanon podium.
