5 cars I’m tired of seeing on Lebanese roads

Don’t get me wrong, the cars mentioned below are all popular for a reason, and it’s because they’re pretty damn good, but whenever I spot one on the road, which is VERY frequently, I can’t help but think to myself: “I’m so tired of seeing this car everywhere.”

Supercars in Lebanon… are they worth it?

5. BMW 3 Series

BMW-3Series

I was hesitant to put the BMW 3 Series (F30) on this list because it’s such a good car, but people seem to forget about equally good cars in its segment like the Lexus IS, Volvo S60 or Audi A4. Yeah yeah, the BMW drives better, but public roads aren’t a racetrack. Also, if you think the Bimmer is more reliable, you’re wrong. Older generations of the 3 Series (E30, E36, E46) are even more popular, but I can’t think of anything better that offers rear-wheel drive at a cheap price.

4. Infiniti G35 Coupe

Infiniti-G35-Coupe

It’s not as sporty and pretty as the Nissan 350Z and it’s not as luxurious as other German alternatives. Is it a real sports car? I don’t think so. Is it a real luxury car? I also don’t think so. Why is it so abundant? I have no idea.

3. Mercedes-Benz C-Class SportCoupé

Mercedes-SportCoupe

It’s not a really coupe because it looks like a hatchback, and it’s not really a hatchback because it doesn’t offer the practicality of a hatchback. However, people still buy it, and I will never understand why.

2. Nissan Tiida

Tiida

The Nissan Tiida is a great little family car, but it’s also everywhere I look. It’s great, but I can name you many other great cars in its segment, including the Ford Fiesta/Focus, Toyota Yaris/Corolla, Honda Civic, Volkswagen Polo, etc… Whatever happened to diversity…

1. Kia Picanto

Kia-Picanto-

I’ve seen Kia Picantos on our streets more than there is hair on my head. This little car’s ridiculously popular, and it’s obvious why. It is cheap to buy, cheap to run and comes with decent equipment. It is the best car in its segment, but I think I’m willing to pay a little extra money for a different car from a different brand, just for the sake of “exclusivity”.
