50% sales growth for BMW Group cars in the first 10 months of 2015

November 26, 2015 – Bassoul-Heneine sal, the official importer for BMW Group cars in Lebanon, has reported an outstanding sales performance with a 50 percent year-on-year increase in sales for the first 10 months of this year.

The growth has been driven by the BMW 4 Series and the BMW X model family as a result of the arrival of a number of new X models, however, the BMW X6 Sports Activity Coupé and the BMW X5 Sports Activity Vehicle remained the best-selling BMW X models contenders particularly well.

The MINI brand also continued to garner success with the MINI Countryman, the first MINI with four doors and optional four-wheel drive, remaining the number one best-seller. The MINI 3 door and 5 door Hatch models also proved popular amongst Lebanese car enthusiasts, enticing new customers to experience the MINI brand as they take road presence to a new level in the premium compact segment.

Ensuring that this strong performance will continue throughout the rest of the year, Bassoul-Heneine sal also announced the arrival of the new third-generation MINI Clubman, which is scheduled to arrive in the Middle East in early 2016. Promising to uphold the brand’s increasing popularity, and in turn its future growth, this commanding, elegant and noticeably mature, MINI Clubman embraces the style of a coupé and a practicality of hatchback as the “smallest large car” in new premium-compact segment. With an exterior just over 32 cm longer and around 12 cm wider than its predecessor, the interior of the new MINI Clubman has also expanded along with the exterior to reveal a raft of clear surfaces and a more “grown-up” sense of space.
