Jordan Rally MERC 2025: Legendary Battles Return to the Heart of the Desert

The roar of engines, the thunder of gravel, and the thrill of high-speed action return to the iconic Jordanian landscape as the Jordan Rally MERC 2025 revs into gear from May 29 to 31, 2025. Serving as the 4th round of the FIA Middle East Rally Championship (MERC), this year’s edition promises high-octane drama, world-class competition, and a spectacular backdrop unlike any other in the rallying world.

Global Field Set for a Fierce Desert Showdown

A total of 22 crews from across the Middle East and beyond are set to take on the challenging terrain of Jordan. The event will host a mix of regional champions, local heroes, and international contenders—making it one of the most anticipated rallies of the MERC calendar.

Among the headline entries is Qatari rally legend Nasser Saleh Al-Attiyah, who will be gunning for a record-breaking 17th Jordan Rally win. Known for his affinity with Jordan’s gravel trails, Al-Attiyah’s consistency and speed will make him the man to beat. However, stiff competition awaits him in the form of joint 2023 MERC champion Abdullah Al-Rawahi from Oman and defending MERC champion Abdulaziz Al-Kuwari of Qatar—both determined to write their own names into Jordanian rallying history.

Rally Base: Dead Sea’s Movenpick Resort

Strategically located at the luxurious Mövenpick Resort and Spa Dead Sea, the rally base offers a striking contrast to the rugged gravel stages. The stunning location combines logistics and comfort, serving as the nerve center for competitors, teams, and fans alike.
