Sebastien Loeb clinched his sixth Rally Mexico victory today ahead of Citroen teammate Miko Hirvonen, stretching his lead in the World Rally Champtionship.
Loeb’s main tital rival, Jari Matti Latvala, suffered a roll during the late stages of the Rally dropping him out of contention for any points.
Petter Solberg took advantage of his teammate’s miseries to take the final podium spot.
Mads Otsberg escaped a late puncture to finish fourth, ahead of Ott Tanak, who delivered his best WRC performance yet.
Nasser Al-Attiyah scored a very impressive sixth place ahead of Armindo Araujo, Sebastien Ogier, Ken Block and Ricardo Trivino who rounded up the top 10.
