Samah Zacca can be genuinely considered the surprise of the Speed Test in its first Lebanese edition in 2012. Last year his participation did not mark any big achievement but this year saw him win the group N category, come second overall in the race and beat many favorites.
We met Samah after the race and had this small chat.
Congratulations for the win in the group N category and the lead for the championship. It’s a big change from last year; tell us a bit about the race?
This time I drove an EVO 9 from TGRS. The car was very well prepared and the track was nice and easy. I was sponsored by Nasser Al Attiyah and I would like to thank him. I would like to thanks Tony Germany for the preparation of the car. I would also like to thank the team and thank Said Zacca too.
Do you think that the fact that you were able to beat other drivers that were driving prototypes with a group N car is an achievement by itself?
It was a bit surprising today but as I told you Tony’s preparation was good and we were able to pull it at the end.
What do you promise us for the coming races?
We are going to continue the speed test championship and I hope that we will be able to participate in Hill Climbs.
What about the hill climbs, is it also with TGRS and sponsored by Nasser Al Attiyah?
